(Verified 01/2011) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Dictaphone with 4-Track Play/2-Track Record with Speed Selection is a cassette tape player/recorder designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This modified portable dictaphone can be used to listen to Library of Congress talking books. It operates at 15/16 and 1 7/8 inches per second and features three-way speed selection. Other standard features include microphone, alternating current (AC), and earphone jack and fast forward and rewind. The set includes a carrying strap, a protective case, and a 60-minute tape. POWER: Uses two double-A batteries (included). DIMENSIONS: 4 5/8 x 3 5/8 x 1 1/8 inches. WEIGHT: Five ounces. WARRANTY: One year.
