(Verified 07/2007) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- CameraMouse is a mouse emulator program that allows hands-free control of a computer for individuals with upper extremity disabilities. This device converts body movements tracked using a video camera into mouse pointer movements on a computer screen. Body movements that can be tracked and converted include head, nose, chin, finger, or toe movements. The program will accommodate for some lack of control in these parts of the body. A built-in toolbar allows the user to emulate all mouse clicks and control tracking options for all user levels. This program works with all standard software. No wires, dots, infrared beams, or other head apparatuses are needed for activation. COMPATIBILITY: For use with IBM and compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: 500 megahertz (MHz) Intel Pentium processor with MMX¦ technology or 500MHz Intel Celeron processor or better (800 Mhz or greater recommended); available Universal Serial Bus (USB) port; Windows 98, 98 Second Edition (SE), Millennium Edition, 2000 Professional, XP Professional, or XP Home Edition; 128 megabytes (MB) random access memory (RAM) or greater (256 MB Ram or greater recommended); 800 x 600 display with 16-bit color; 20 MB hard disk space available; 4x CD-ROM drive; Windows-compatible sound system with speakers recommended. Supported cameras include Intel Pro Video PC USB Camera and Logitec QuickCam Pro 3000.
