The EyeTech Vision Tracker VT1 is an eye controlled input system designed for use by individuals with upper extremity, neurological or severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. The system comes with Quick Glance software. This unit tracks one or both eyes using dark pupil, single or binocular video tracking with infrared illumination, accurate to 0.5 degree. Standard data rate is 55 frames per second with 1, 5, 9, or 16 available calibration points. Typical operating distance of head motion (horizontal x distance) is 11.4 x 13.8 inches. It can be used with communication software, to send email, to surf the web, to control the user’s environment, to play games or to do anything a handheld mouse can do. It is intended to be used with desktop monitors and televisions with screens from 19 to 32 inches. DIMENSIONS (WxDxH): 19.7 x 2.4 x 2.8 inches. The typical operating distance of the eyes from the display is 25.6 to 39.4 inches. POWER: AC adapter. COMPATIBILITY: For use with IBM and compatible computer. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows XP, Vista, or 7 operating system; one available 1394a (FireWire/IEEE) port or adapter card. WEIGHT: 3 pounds. WARRANTY: Two year hardware warranty.
