Picture of COMPACT HAND CONTROL BY VEIGEL (MODEL 4200CP) The Compact Hand Control by Veigel, model 4200CP, is a hand control designed for use by individuals with lower extremity or mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. To accelerate, the driver pulls the ergonomically-shaped handle backwards and a slight push forward operates the brake. The brake can be locked at the push of a button while waiting in traffic. The movements are transferred by sturdy push rods. The special transmission gives increased sensitivity at low revolutions per minute (RPM). The handle is shaped in such a way that the hand can rest on it while driving. This maintenance-free hand control can be folded out of the way when not in use and the cover is free of sharp edges in order to avoid injuries in case of a crash.

Notes: The manufacturer states this device has been tested and approved by the major carmakers and is made according to the strict regulations of the automobile industry and the DIN ISO 9001-2000 and TS 16949.
