1. ATTENDANT JOYSTICK (MODEL 2460)

   --- DISCONTINUED. RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Permits attendant operation of various functions depending upon the type of control used. With direct select type of control the attendant can remotely operate the wheelchair and any additional device, such as a power recliner, which can be operated by the user's actuator. With a scanning control the attendant can operate the wheelchair only. Can be used for training purposes since attendant can override the user's actuator. Mounts on outside of the right wheelchair push handle using joystick rod clamp. An interconnecting cable is required to connect attendant joystick to user's control. Requires a 1915 Interconnecting Cable, $80.00.

2. BREATH ACTUATOR (MODEL 2910)

   --- DISCONTINUED. RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Multiple switch actuator. Two levels of pressure (puff) and two levels of suction (sip) applied through a mouthpiece. Produces the equivalent directional control provided by 4 direction joystick. Features advanced pressure sensing device which is resistant to moisture damage. Pressure and suction inputs converted to directional controls as follows: high pressure = forward, high suction = reverse, low pressure = right, low suction = left. Contains special circuitry to prevent momentary right or left command when the user releases the high pressure or suction inputs for forward or reverse. This feature improves smoothness of operation. Mounts on the cover of the power module with double faced foam tape.

3. DUOMODE SIMPLEX CONTROL (MODEL 2440)

   --- DISCONTINUED. RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Two mode, direct select control used to operate a wheelchair and power recliner or other device from a multiple switch actuator. Auditory feedback during mode selection mounted on cover of power module with double faced foam tape. Includes cable for connections to power module and to the cables from the actuator and mode Z interface. Depending upon the type of interface used, an interconnecting cable may be required. To operate wheelchair, supply a momentary reverse input from the actuator. This changes the control from the standby to the operate mode. If control receives no further input it will reset to standby. For mode 2, supply two momentary reverse inputs. The actuator will now operate mode 2 device. Control features emergency stop switch to immediately halt wheelchair or device.

4. DUOMODE SIMPLEX CONTROL (MODEL 2440-2)

   --- DISCONTINUED. RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Direct select, two mode control used to operate wheelchair and two other devices (e.g., power recliner, environmental control transmitter). Receives input from multiple switch actuator. Auditory feedback during mode selection. Mounts on power module cover with double faced foam tape. Includes cables for connections to power module, actuator and mode 2 interfaces. Depending on type of interface used, an interconnecting cable may be required. To operate the wheelchair, supply a momentary reverse input from the actuator. This changes the status of the control from standby to operate. If control does not receive input for 45 seconds it resets to standby. For mode 2 supply two momentary reverse actuator inputs. Mode 2 will now have an operate status. Dual environmental control unit jacks are provided and are activated by left or right actuator commands when in mode 2. Will allow indefinite environmental control function. Features emergency stop switch to immediately halt wheelchair or device.

5. FOUR TO ONE ADAPTER (MODEL 2355)

   --- DISCONTINUED. RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Operates in conjunction with power module, control and actuator to convert traditional powered wheelchair for specialized switch operation. Combines four individual single switch type actuators to produce the equivalent of one multiple switch type actuator (e.g., a joystick). Offers the benefits of direct selection to those persons lacking the capability to operate a single, multiple switch type actuator. Used with a 3060 system.

6. JOYSTICK (MODEL 2650)

   --- DISCONTINUED. RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Multiple switch actuator. Small, light pressure, 8 direction, short throw joystick designed for chin operation of powered wheelchair. May be chest mounted with a bib or attached directly to wheelchair frame with swing away mount. Five foot cable. Tapped hole (1/4, 20) in base for mounting. Comes with a chin cup or knob. Used with a 3060 system.

9. OMNI INTERFACE (MODEL 2245)

RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Operates in conjunction with a power module, multiple mode type control, and an actuator to convert a traditional powered wheelchair for specialized switch operation. This interface is designed to permit operation of an Omni communicator within this system. Mounts on the rear of the omni with double faced foam tape. Plugs into both the power and logic jacks on the Omni and to the mode 2 output of the control. Interface then supplies power to the Omni.

10. PATIENT SENTINEL (MODEL 2580)

    --- DISCONTINUED. RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Signaling device which permits a powered wheelchair user to call for attendant assistance. Activated by single contact switch (purchased separately). Emits a pulsing tone and a flashing light. Powered by one of the wheelchair's 12 volt batteries utilizing power cable. Has alternate on/off mode (switch closure alternately turns device on and off) and momentary on/off mode (continuous switch closure turns device on, releasing switch turns it off). May purchase third operating mode which permits the user to turn on the Sentinel and the attendant to turn off the Sentinel by pressing a reset switch.

Operates with an actuator and control to process the power supplied by the wheelchair batteries to provide controlled power to the wheelchair drive motors and other system components. Features forward latch/speed control function to allow continuous forward wheelchair operation without maintaining continuous operation of actuating switch, plus the ability to select any of 8 forward speeds up to the maximum speed set by the attendant. Once forward latched, a right or left command will cause the wheelchair to veer in that direction. A momentary reverse command unlatches the forward drive. Latch function may be inhibited by a switch on the module. Emergency stop switch immediately halts wheelchair. Operates in conjunction with a power module, multiple mode control, and an actuator to convert traditional powered wheelchair for specialized switch operation. Compatible with most 12 or 24 volt recliners including those with powered headrests where the recliner motor and headrest operate sequentially. Features an acceleration circuit for smooth operation and an adjustable speed control to adjust the rate of recliner movement. To operate the recliner the control must be advanced to the mode selected for recliner operation. Two actuator commands are then used to recline and raise to upright position. Mounted near recliner drive mechanism utilizing interface's threaded inserts. An interconnecting cable is required to connect interface to control. Wiring diagram included for installation. Compatible with LaBac, Folio, Invacare and Falcon recliner systems. Requires a 1925 Interconnecting Cable, $80.00. Used with a 3060 system.

16. TRIMODE CONTROL (MODEL 2330)

Features front panel with indicator lights to show mode selected and direction, a knob to adjust control's scanning speed, and a power switch. Auditory feedback during mode selection. Emergency stop switch to immediately halt wheelchair or interfacing devices. One momentary reverse actuator input selects wheelchair, two inputs select mode 2, three inputs select mode 3. Standby status displayed on panel to indicate when control is ready for mode selection. Control may be mounted on wheelchair lapboard or swingaway mount. Interconnecting cable required to connect control to power module. Additional cables may be required to connect control to mode 2 and 3 devices.

17. UNIMODE SIMPLEX CONTROL (MODEL 2360)

Mounted on the cover of the power module with double faced foam tape. Includes cables for connecting to the power module and to the cable from the actuator. To operate, supply a momentary reverse input from actuator, then release. A signal will beep, then stop, to signal that the actuator will now operate the wheelchair, preventing inadvertent operation of the wheelchair. If no inputs are received from the actuator for 45 seconds the control resets to standby status. Features emergency stop switch to immediately halt wheelchair.
