(Verified 06/2006) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The CTP Communication Training Program is a skills training software package that presents scenarios which allow the client to interact as if in a real communication situation. Scenarios include going to a restaurant, buying a milkshake, and buying gasoline. The client's input generates a variety of computer responses creating new variations each time the interaction occurs. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Apple II series computers.

2. KAP KEYBOARD ASSESSMENT PROGRAM

(Verified 06/2006) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The KAP Keyboard Assessment Program is a cursor control interface assessment program that gathers and compiles data about track time, select time, and multiple key selection. The data compiled includes the number of anticipatory hits (keys hit before signaled to do so), wrong selections, post response hits (keys hit after proper selection), number of correct selections, and average time per selection. The data compilation format is such that it is suitable for printing and for placement in a client file. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Apple II series computers.

3. STP SWITCH TRAINING PROGRAM

Different modes can be used for different types of training. In the cause and effect mode any switch closure produces the action; in joystick mode, the switches must be used in specific ways to produce the desired action. Examples of the scenarios include a flower that grows when "watered" and an elevator that carries a figure up several levels, are included. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Apple IIe and Apple IIGS computers.

The data compiled includes the number of anticipatory hits (switch(es) hit before signaled to do so), wrong selections, post response hits (switch(es) hit after proper selection), number of correct selections and average time per selection. 5. TEAP TEXT ENTRY ASSESSMENT PROGRAM

Switch use includes one, two, four or five switches. Single switch use allows group/item scanning, row/column scanning, or Morse code. Selection arrays include alphabetic or frequency of occurrence. Scan rate is adjustable and acceptance may be timed or actively selected with a fifth switch. Methods for input acceleration are available including number or abbreviation codes.
