Designed to have a very tight turning radius and to be highly maneuverable in indoor and outdoor environments, this powered wheelchair has a unique design with a round base and rear wheel that allows the user to virtually "turn on a dime." FRAME: The circular base is 24.25 inches wide x 36 inches long with a 17- inch turning radius. A fending bumper surrounds the base to protect furniture and walls should the unit come into contact with them. CONTROLS: The control panel is located on the armrest and features a joystick that allows fingertip control of speed, steering, and braking. A charge meter is standard. SEAT: The automotive-style cushioned, folding seat adjusts from 20 to 23 inches high. Custom seating and an elevating seat are optional. ARMRESTS: Padded, flip-up angle-adjustable armrests. BRAKES: Regenerative braking with automatic parking brake. WHEELS: Solid rubber, non-marring tires; 4 anti-tip casters and one steerable wheel in the back of the chair. The seat is 22 inches wide and the seat height is 20 inches. ARMRESTS: Angle-adjustable flip-up armrests. BRAKES: Regenerative and automatic electronic braking. CASTERS: Rear casters. WHEELS: Front drive wheels. FOOTRESTS: One-piece footplates. POWER: Uses two 12-volt rechargeable batteries.
