    The Beach Hippocampe is a three-wheeled beach and all-terrain wheelchair designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities. FRAME: The frame is available in small, medium, large, and extra-large. The small frame is 46 inches long, the medium frame is 50 inches long, the large frame is 54 inches long, and the extra-large frame is 62 inches long. Folded dimensions (HxL) are 15 x 45 inches for the small frame, 15 x 49 inches for the medium frame, 15 x 53 inches for the large frame, and 15 x 59 inches for the extra-large frame. The chair is made of aluminum tubing and floats in water. Tubing is sleeved to prevent getting hot in the sun. A pushbar (which adds 22 inches to the wheelchair length)is optional. SEAT: Water-repellent seat. The seat width is 17 inches, and the height is fixed at 15.75 inches(standard) or adjustable from 14 to 17 inches(optional). The headrest is covered in water-repellent foam and can be adjusted to several positions to adapt to the user’s size and position. A men's or women's water-resistant elastic Lycra-covered Neoprene harness is available as an option. ARMRESTS: Optional folding / swiveling armrests can also serve as mudguards. BRAKES: Optional brakes to lock the wheelchair during transfer. WHEELS: Two large double all-terrain rear wheels (14-inch diameter) and one front low pressure wheel. OPTIONS: Backpack for holding personal belongings on the back of the wheelchair; carrying case for transporting the wheelchair; and a ski kit with sled blade that fits on a clip under the front wheel to enable the chair to slide over the snow.
