Ginger.io is a remote health monitoring system designed for use by medical researchers and health care providers. The platform has a web-based dashboard for researchers and healthcare providers, and a mobile phone app for patients. Healthcare providers and researchers can invite patients to install the mobile application on their phone. The mobile application (or app) runs in the background of a mobile phone that uses the Android operating system. It collects passive (phone sensor) and active (patient-reported outcome) data. With patient consent, the data is securely displayed on a HIPAA-compliant web dashboard for healthcare providers and researchers. The system provides researchers with an integrated platform to collect behavior data and identify findings. Outcome data can be collected continuously in real time and evaluated with Google Analytics. COMPATIBILITY: The app is compatible with an Android phone.
