MADDAK STANDING FRAME, SMALL (MODEL H70425)
The Maddak Standing Frame, Small, model H70425, is a standing platform designed for small children with severe physical limitations. The standing frame permits many types of play activities as well as table work, while providing the child with the benefits of lower extremity weight bearing. The frame may be especially beneficial for children with cerbral palsy or other disorders affting gross motor development. This supporting device will adapt to individual children from about 1 to 7 years old, or about 28 to 45 inches tall. The frame is built of anodized aluminum tubing with a plywood base. It has an adjustable heel stop and foot positioning strap. An epoxy-coated metal knee rest has non-absorbent neoprene foam cushion blocks to support the child's legs comfortably. A behind-the-knee strap is supplied for extra support, if required. Double straps for the buttocks have full-width Velcro closures and strap rings. All straps are made of sewn denim. Two stabilizing bars provide extra wide support beyond the plywood base and fold under the frame for transport or storage. Vertical tubing is adjustable with push-buttons. OPTIONS: The standing frame with four braking casters (model H70425-0003), a birch plywood tray (model H70425-0002), and a toe stop (model H70425-0001). DIMENSIONS: Stabilizing bars extend to 29 x 29 inches; base is 16 x 19 inches; vertical tubing extends from 25.5 to 30.5 inches. WEIGHT: 10 pounds.
