Picture of FOUR COMPARTMENT SCANNING COMMUNICATOR WITH ICON HOLDERS (MODEL 1236) The Four Compartment Scanning Communicator with Icon Holders, model 1236, is a scanning communicator designed for use by individuals with upper extremity or severe physical disabilities and communication disabilities. The icon holders are on an upright strip above the compartments to hold objects (not included), facilitating the transition from objects to photographs as communication cues. The unit scans when external switches (not included) are activated. The device can also be used with one-to-one correspondence when the compartment switch is selected. POWER: Uses four double-A batteries (not included). DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 6 x 18 x 10 inches.
