(Verified 09/2012) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Ultimate Package Opener is a package opener designed for use by individuals with fine motor or upper extremity disabilities or arthritis. Made of heavy-duty polypropylene, this unit has a push button on top back that extends a metal two-millimeter blade to open plastic clamshells cases, corrugated boxes, banding straps, blister cards, and more. The short blade penetrates the package not the contents. A rotating wheel on top fine tunes the blade for thin cellophane, coupons, or wrapping paper. The device is equipped with a non-slip comfort grip handle and a clear plastic safety lid. DIMENSIONS: 6.5 inches long. WEIGHT: 2 ounces, COLOR: Assorted.
