Picture of SPINNING COMMUNICATOR (MODEL 2043) The Spinning Communicator, model 2043, is a direct selection communicator designed for use by individuals with speech or communication disabilities. The slightest touch rotates the carousel, enabling the most limited user to communicate special needs. This easy-access device can also be used in the classroom to match objects with words or pictures. Each of the 12 sectors has 18 seconds of recording time. Icons can be changed with the turn of a screw. Icons ar pictures are not included; however, blank doughnut-shaped inserts are included. POWER: Uses 4 triple-A batteries. DIMENSIONS: The unit is 12 inches in diameter. Icon openings are 2.25 x 2 x 1.5 inches.
