Picture of ORATIO Oratio is a cell phone screen reader designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. Designed for use with BlackBerry smartphones, Oratio allows the BlackBerry user to manage instant messaging, emails, SMS and MMS; make and receive calls with access to caller ID on incoming calls; manage the contacts list and the call log; schedule appointments and tasks with alarms and reminders; and access the phone's settings, ring tones and speed dials. Oratio features an auto start mode when the device turns on; different verbosity levels to allow users to define the amount of information provided; settings control over the voice rate and pitch; and keyboard echo settings for text entry. COMPATIBILITY: BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: BlackBerry Device Software version 4.6.1.297 or greater with a BlackBerry Language pack that includes U.S. English.
