RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Visio PC is a desktop video magnifier designed for use by individuals with low vision. It has a TFT (thin film transistor) flat panel display monitor set above the camera in an in-line configuration. Height, inclination, and distance of the monitor are adjustable. The camera is a high-resolution Sony Color Camera with a 25-fold zoom and manual and automatic focus. Display options include full color, false colors, and black and white adjustable. The magnification range is two to 50 times original size. When connected to a personal computer (PC), screen splitting between the camera image and the PC image is possible. OPTIONS: Distance camera for classroom use; pedal control. DIMENSIONS: TFT monitor measures 18 inches. A 15-inch monitor is also available.
