Basic Map Reading Concepts: Map Study II, model 1-01120-00, is map skills training designed for use by students who are blind or have low vision. This training program presents 30 map reading concepts in three areas: location and direction; finding corners; and diagonal, vertical, and horizontal movement. This program includes 13 sequential lesson plans in print, and three plastic relief maps with contrasting colors designed to introduce area, linear, and point symbols.

Notes: This program is recommended for students age six and over.
