(Verified 12/2006) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The EasyStand 6000 Glider is a standing aid designed to provide dynamic leg movement and therapeutic motion while standing for people with mobility disabilities and spinal cord injuries. The geometric design of the leg support system prevents vertical shearing while the user's legs are in motion. In addition, the ergonomically-designed glider handles are linked to permit one leg to move forward while the other moves back. To use the device, the user transfers to the seat, pumps the seat to a standing position, and moves the glider handles for simultaneous upper body therapy and leg motion. Individually adjustable resistance cylinders provides users with 10 different settings ranging from mild to vigorous. The unit also features a digital monitor to track calories burned, distance, time, and speed. Other standard features include adjustable padded back, seat, and chest support; grab bar, and transport wheels. OPTIONS: Actuator handle extension, removable actuator handle, high back, and side supports. DIMENSIONS: The seat depth adjusts fom 17 to 24 inches and the seat height from the floor adjusts from 19 to 25 inches. The height of the glider handles adjusts from 42 to 59 inches. The base is 42 x 32 inches. CAPACITY: 280 pounds. WEIGHT: 141 pounds. COLOR: The frame is black and the standard upholstery is grey. Optional upholstery colors are blue, tan, or green.
