--- DISCONTINUED. RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Amplifier attaches to modular telephone to increase the sound by 35 decibels. Plugs into the base of the phone. Handset or binaural ( included) headset plugs into amplifier. Features sliding volume control and six adjustable tone selectors. May be used for television listening when plugged into earphone jack. Measures 5.5 by 3.5 by 1.25 inches. Beige. Requires 9 volt battery for average life of two weeks. Optional neckloop (number 288) available for use with hearing aids equipped with telephone switches.
