Jet Skiing for Fun and (Non)-Profit: Adaptions for Recreation and Small Business Development

This article describes the modification of a jet ski by a Tech Team to enable a man with a T5 spinal cord injury to ride the machine. The main adaption involved stabilizing the clients legs and the adaption was so successful that the client began competitive racing and eventually started a non-profit business to promote the participation of individuals with disabilities in water sports.
