A D.I.Y., Low Cost, Two Level Work Station

By Swords, Michael E., Swords and Associates, Downers Grove, IL 65051; Proceedings of the RESNA '95 Annual Conference, Vol. 15
(Pages: 535-537) Publication Date: 1995

This article describes the design and construction of a do-it-yourself, low-cost, two-level workstation. The design is intended primarily as a computer workstation and incorporates several criteria: universality, easy adjustments over a wide range of heights, accommodate loads up to 40 pounds, and made from off-the-shelf hardware store items. The author believes that computer operator fatigue will be reduced by utilizing the work position adjustment features of the workstation. Two photos show the workstation.
