New TTY Software

Article discussing the development of myTTY by the Institute for Disabilities Research and Training, Inc., which is software that allows a personal computer (PC) to function as a TTY. The program runs on PCs that use a Windows operating system and are equipped with a voice modem. The features of myTTY include an answering machine, ability to save and print conversations, choice of font/color/size, telephone directory, copy/paste capabilities, adjustable line noise suppression, automatic relay dialing, caller ID messages, disconnect detection, online help documents, and ungarble capabilities.
