Paper describes the development of an online database of external evidence on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) performance, based on language samples recorded using automated data logging. Speech-language pathologists providing services to people who rely on AAC require access to communication performance data to treat their clients. The web-based AAC language sample library provides a systematic and efficient database to support clinical intervention, outcomes measurement, and research activities.
