The Swingaway Lateral Trunk Support is designed to provide positioning support for people who use wheelchairs.Model 31425 is a Swingaway Kit with Pad and includes tapered L brackets, a swing-away hinge, an extender, all mounting hardware, and the support pad. The brackets can be arranged in a variety of configurations for flexibility and growth. The extender bracket permits extra flexibility in any direction. The supports flip out of the way while entering and exiting the chair and they have single push-button release. The pad is made of textured self-skinning foam and is reversible for a choice of soft or firm support. Model 31423 is a fixed kit (does not swing away) and model 32492 is a Swingaway Kit without the pad. OPTIONS: The pad is also sold separately (no. 32491). DIMENSIONS: The pad is 4 inches tall x 7 inches long x 1.5 inches thick. The extender bracket is 2.75 inches and the tapered L brackets include a 4-inch model and a 2.5-inch model. COLOR: The brackets and pad are black. WARRANTY: Warranted to be free of defects in workmanship and materials from date of purchase.
