(Verified 09/2012) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. ---The Ball Bearing Feeder with Elevating Proximal Arm, model7122, is a balanced forearm orthosis designed as an arm support for feeding for persons with shoulder weakness. The device is available for the right or left arm and consists of a metal arm trough with free swinging arm support and a ball bearing joint. The elevating proximal arm has rubber band powered ball bearing parallelogram frame to assist humeral abduction. The device can be clamped to most tubular wheelchairs with the included bracket. DIMENSIONS (measure from olecranon process to ulnar styloid): adult 9.5 to 10.5 inches and large adult 10.5 to 12.5 inches.
