(Verified 1/2003) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The PHIL-E-SLIDE Flexi-Disc is a standing transfer aid designed for use with individuals with mobility disabilities. Intended for use during standing pivot or seated pivot transfers, this device consists of two flexible material discs connected at the center, which enables the top disc to rotate on the bottom disc. Individuals placed on the soft, quilted top disc can be rotated for transfer. Non-slip surface areas on the bottom disc, anchoring the device on most surfaces and enabling ease of movement of the center surfaces slide over themselves as the disc rotates. The unit can also be used for seated transfers to and from wheelchairs, automobile seats, etc. The material of the unit is bacteria-resistant, non-absorbent, machine- or hand-washable, and ca be used on wet or rough surfaces. SIZES: Small or large. DIMENSIONS: The small model is 15 inches in diameter and the large model is 17 inches in diameter. COLOR: The small model is blue and the large model is red. GUARANTEE: 18 months.
