RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- WinVision 2 is a voice output screen review program designed to provide natural operation and freehand mouse reviewing for individuals who are blind or have low vision. WinVision 2 has all the functions of the original WinVision such as, ultra fast speech response which eliminates any delays as you move across the screen; automatic and manual screen reading; interactive freehand review moving the mouse; keyboard emulation of mouse; standard screen review functions; automatically speak dialog boxes, pull down menus, ICONS, buttons, scroll bars, etc.; and spell check. Some new features uniwue only to WinVision 2 include: docu-pilot, automatic reading of documents; advanced field reads, read field names to the left or above the current item; speak Borland style dialog boxes by assigning speech labels to bitmap pictures; spreadsheet mode; dual icon naming for icons that change when the mouse pointer is over them; auto reading zones allowing you to set text areas to be read; enhance text tracking when text runs off screen; and much more.
