(Verified 4/2000) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The LinkPower50 and the LinkPower65 are battery accessories designed for use with powered wheelchair or scooter batteries. The LinkPower50 is a 49.5 watt total output DC to DC power converter which can produce sufficient power to operate accessories and devices such as augmentative communication devices, switches, and most laptop computers. This unit can supply power to three devices simultaneously without the need for charging or changing batteries, plugging in AC-DC adapters, or using electrical extension cords. The LinkPower50 is easy on wheelchair batteries due to its high conversion efficiency and, with average use, no change in a wheelchair's battery charging schedule is required. Circuits are protected from spikes and voltage fluctuations caused by the wheelchair electrical system. The converter is protected against output overloads and overheating; stays cool to the touch. LinkPower65 also available, with same features as the LinkPower 50 but with two 2.6 Amp outlets and the 0.6 Amp outlet. ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS: The LinkPower50 has an input voltage of 24 VDC nominal (20- 27VDC). Output voltage: 2.6 Amp and 1.3 Amp outlets, 12V-9V-7.5V-6V +/- 5%; 0.6 Amp outlet, 4.5V-3V-1.5V +/- 5%. Output voltage ripple: +/- 150mV. No load current less than 0.050 Amp. LinkPower65 output voltage is 12V-9V-7.5V-6V. DIMENSIONS: 2 x 5.25 x 5.25 inches. WEIGHT: 1.1 pound.
