Prima is a manual wheelchair designed for use by individuals with lower extremity, mobility, or neurological disabilities or spinal cord injury. FRAME: Overall width is seat width plus 8.5 inches. Minimum folded width is 11 inches. The frame is made of aircraft quality aluminum tubing with epoxy paint in choice of six colors. SEAT (LxW): 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, or 20 inches x 14, 15, 16, 17, or 18 inches (single cross frame) or 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, or 22 inches (double cross frame). The seat is rigid with an adjustable-tension nylon-sling backrest with height of 13 to 22 inches. The backrest is angle-adjustable and seat to floor height is adjustable from 13 3/8 to 20.5 inches. CUSHION: Profiled or straight cushion. ARMRESTS: Swing-away armrest is height adjustable from 8 to 11 or 9 to 12 inches with a pad length of 10 to 14 inches. BRAKES: Wheel lock with angle-adjustable lever. CASTERS: 5, 6, 7, or 8 inch polyurethane casters or 6 x 1.25, 7 x 1.75, 8 x 1.25, or 8 x 2 inch pneumatic front casters. WHEELS: Rear wheels with semi-pneumatic tires (20, 22, or 24 inches), polyurethane tires (22 or 24 inches), pneumatic tires (20, 22, 24, or 26 inches), spoke wheels (20, 22, or 24 inches), Mag wheels (20, 22, or 24 inches), with hand rims (aluminum, plastic- or foam-coated, or dual grasp), and standard or quick release wheel axle. FOOTRESTS: Swing-away, removable, elevating, articulated footrests are length-adjustable from 14 to 19 inches. The footplates fold and are equipped with heel and toe loops. CAPACITY: 250 pounds (350 pounds with double cross frame). WEIGHT: 21 pounds with front 6 x 1 inch caster and without rear wheels, armrests, or footrests.
