The 1-Clic Vial System is an easy open medicine bottle for use by individuals with grasping or upper extremity disabilities or arthritis, or by upper extremity amputees. The system is made up of 1-Clic vials (bottles) and closures (lids), which are moisture and light resistant. The lid can be opened with minimal pressure on the tab at the top of vial and a slight turn of the lid. An audible “click” signals that a closure is properly secured. The closure can be used in a child-resistant or non-child-resistant position. For the child-resistant position, the user holds tab down and twists the lid counterclockwise to open, and twists and tightens the lid clockwise until the “click” signals it is closed. For non-child-resistant position, the user twists the lid counterclockwise to open, and closes it by inserting the cap's narrow end in the bottleand twisting clockwise. SIZES: The vials are available in 10, 13, 16, 20, 30, 40 or 60 drams. The closures are available in 38, 43 or 58 millimeters (mm).
