DISCONTINUED. (Verified 02/93) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. The 1310 Plus Video Communication Terminal is a telecommunication device for people with deafness (TDD) that offers a split screen so that both sides of a transaction or conversation can be viewed simultaneously. A total of 24 lines with 40 characters per line are visible at one time. Up to ten telephone numbers may be stored and dialed by pressing a single key. Emergency information may also be stored and sent directly to people with compatible TDDs. On-screen progress messages (e.g., "Line busy") permit monitoring of call status. A built-in modem permits access to on-line databases; the login sequence for any two databases may be stored and recalled. An automatic answering machine can receive and store over 110 lines of message for review at a later date. The 1310 Plus is $329.95. Options include a monochrome monitor ($155.00), monitor cable ($10.00), printer cable for optional attachment to a printer ($15.00), and a monitor stand ($29. 00). The 1310 Plus, monitor, and monitor cable are available as a package for $429.95.
